Enhanced ATSF F45 package with wrong GeoPcDx instruction

I have discovered I made a mistake writing the readme installation instructions related with one of the Geo´s copy paste.
In the Readme, at the end of the "Installation Instructions" part, I wrote:

QUOTE
Copy the two Geo´s: Headlight_ALT.GeoPcDx and Headlight_Plate.GeoPcDx
Paste them in these two folders:
...\RailWorks\Assets\Jalsina\ATSFchild\NL\Red
and
...\RailWorks\Assets\Jalsina\ATSFchild\NL\Yel
UNQUOTE

The Headlight_Plate.GeoPcDx is required
But, the Headlight_ALT.GeoPcDx is not required.
The right Geo instead is: Headlight.GeoPcDx

I want to thank PNWR1854 for telling me about this bug.

So I downloaded the advanced searchlight mod. Installed as per instructions and copied files as required. The new light look great. The horn sounds amazing, but I can't get the engine sounds to work. I pressed the I key to set the isolation switch. Am I missing a step. Sometimes I have the same problem with the MRL version as well. Searchlight is installed and checked on the world editor.

On the ATSF_5923e I had an issue with missing textures. I found in the file f45_BN_Digits.bin a reference to ATSF_5901, which I changed to ATSF_5923e. Ola - missing texture was corrected !
In the attachment you find the corrected file. Uncompress it in Railworks\Assets.

I removed my fix as it is based on duplicated textures and the following solution of Jalsina is much better !

Thank you Kris, for pointing this out.
You are right. There is a bug there. However all four bluebonnets should be pointing to 5901e and the four warbonnets to the 90e.
Your fix is probably working because I copied all textures to that folder (I am not sure though).

However for those that have the ET44C4 original repaints installed, including his recent file, the numbers fix, that 5901 will work perfectly (maybe you don´t have it installed?). The numbers fix corrects a problem in the original numbers related with the alpha.

Another way to fix that bug which I suggest is copying the f45_BN_Digits.bin file in ...
Code: Select all
RailWorks\Assets\RSC\F45Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF_5934e\Engine\Textures\Numbers\f45_BN_Digits.bin

And replace the same file found in same pathof the 5923e loco.

The reason (readme bug) for which this thread was posted has been totally fixed (thanks to Bob).
The only difference is the modified readme I have posted above.

However about the coding bug, Kris120 pointed out, I advise you download this file, :
f45_BN_Digits.rar

unzip it and the contents place it in:
Code: Select all
\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\F45Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF_5923e\Engine\Textures\Numbers

This is the right file that should be there. It will help if you do not have ET44C4 ATSF F45 locos installed. Otherwise it would not be required.
