missing folders in TS

Unread postby jtousign » Fri Jan 19, 2018 4:03 pm

Hi members! What to do when you see there are some missing folders and files in Train simulator? For example I downloaded the RWA F7 from Buzzz (nice one by the way), made a try but I coud'nt go into the cab! I checked Kuju folders to see that the cab folder was empty *!mad!* Same thing for a couple of other folders in TS. No idea what happened with these files!!Is there a fast way to recover those files? I asked to DTG but no answer so far. I think to uninstall and reinstall back TS but I'm afraid to loose all my DLC bought at Steam since 2011. Any help well appreciated! **!!bow!!**

Try verifying your files rather than reinstalling the software.

You say it's missing. Are you sure it's not in the RailSimulatorUSAssets.ap folder? Theory has it that it should find it even if it's not unbundled if it's there in the .ap. It normally resides in the F7\Default folder.

I just took my Cabview out so it had to look in the .ap and it found it there so unless you deleted your .ap folder it should show up.

No AP folder in Kuju folder. I suspect having deleted it accidentally when I've got the RW_tools software two weeks ago *!embar*! Then, what can I do???

Verify your cache. That will restore it. If you need help with that holler and one of us will post detailed instructions.

Go to your Steam file. Go to libraries. Right click on on Train Simulator. Left click on Properties, left click on Local files the bottom one is verify integrity of game files. This will take a while. Let's see if that fixes your problem.
