Fan Railer's ACS-64 Physics mod

Unread postby wlenz781 » Sat Dec 30, 2017 3:34 pm

I am having an issue with TS2018 and Fan Railer's physics mod. When I do a fresh install of the New York New Haven route and add in Fan Railer's ACS-64 mod, I get blue dots above the pantograph and none of the controls work. When I restore the original CommonScripts/EngineScript.out the pantograph and controls work. I am still unable to release the brakes and get any power when I increase the throttle. Is anyone else having issues with this mod and TS2018 60.4c?

It's possible DTG updated a few things and certain mods will no longer work especially if they are trying to script a lot of things now.

DTG tends to set their files to read only to prevent editing, and I wonder why they'd do that in the first place, considering there's no difference between models with read only files and no read only files.

Just go into RSC and try right clicking the NewYorkNewHaven folder and click properties. Once you've done that un-check read only and then try re-install Fanrailer's ACS-64 mod to see if it works.

Thanks to a private message from OpenRailer90, I got it fixed. I had to install it without modifying the ap file. Once I dropped the files into the NewYorkNewHaven root folder, it all worked.
