Hi,
just installed this route, but have a problem as shown in the attachment( No tracks showing). Plus have all the 3dTrain requisites including the High Res versions installed( repeated D/L - installation to-night).
Any clue would be appreciated.

Regards JohnT

Ah the vagaries of Railworks. Decided I would try another scenario and the tracks have appeared. Went back to the original scenario and sure enough, tracks are visible. Can only assume re-installation of the 3DTrains packages did the trick.
These 3dtrains are installed via an .exe so no means of knowing what and where any thing is being placed, but no matter seems problem has gone.

Regards JohnT

I have personally now got into a routine that if I download an .exe applicator, that can't be opened in 7zip, and it doesn't matter whether it is Payware, or, freeware content, I create a Vanilla folder for Assets and I install the content directly into that particular folder knowing that there is absolutely nothing else in there interferring with the process, then afterwards, I look at what has been installed, I can either then just copy and paste all the assets across into my real game, or, install it again automatically directly into my real game knowing what folders should now exist and the files inside them accordingly, I always double check what has been installed before going into the game and finding important items are missing on a rouite, such as track, signals, bridges, viaducts, you know, the important things!!!!! !*roll-laugh*!

Cheerz. Steve.

I have not been able to get this route to show up. Could it be because Norton refused to allow me to install 3D Trains TreePack ?
Or any other reasons?

When you say it "doesn't show up.' does that mean it's not in the menu? Or it doesn't open for you? Have you looked to see if it's listed in RWTools?

Thanks Buzz,

3D Trains advised disabling Norton, which I did, and got the TreePack installed.
I also downloaded one scenario from RWA.

The route does not appear in the Drive tab under standard and is not listed in the Build section. It is not listed in RW Tools.

As far as I am aware I downloaded and installed all the Freeware Dependencies and also had all the Payware Dependencies (purchased Renewable Energy Pack) as listed in the Readme.
Couldn't find Alpenfreights Simple Weather but it was only recommended.

Maybe I should try and install it all again?

I had this very same problem a few months ago in a short testing I did for Tomcat.

I solved the issue by installing every one of the available 3D Trains sets of rail textures.

A few days ago I installed the version here in RWA. I had no problems with it. It only means I have something you don´t in that 3D Trains folder.

If there are no QD scenarios installed, the route can´t be seen in the QD roster.

I think this may be something quite simple. I just went through the same puzzle. Inside the route 9440eb-a1d0-blah blah blah there is another folder with the same name. The one inside needs to be installed in your route folder. Betcha it shows up then.

I had it installed on another computer where it worked and when you came up with the problem I discovered I didn't have it here so I D/L it again and just like you it didn't show up !!det!! so after some head scratching I went to look in the folder how this was possible and there it was. !*YAAA*!
