It happens when I look at the asset. If I'm turned away from it, I'm fine.
Help is desperately appreciated.

The issue is that the asset is either corrupted and/or one of its polys isn't textured properly.

If they're not your own, then you would need to contact the author.

Ok so know they don't flash, however they are now invisible.
