I purchased the Norfolk Southern Heritage SD70ACes a while ago, and I haven't really use these loco's as much as other DLC etc.. Well I decided I wanted to use these units on a route, however I ran into an issue with the controls from the keyboard not wanting to work. I wanted to accelerate by pushing "A" to throttle up, didn't work, I tried pushing "D" on the keyboard to see if that worked, nope nothing. Brakes, Horn, Bell, Wipers etc.. key controls work but the main thing to get the train to move nothing. I uninstalled did a fresh install of the DLC still can't get it to work. Any Idea?

Thanks

The DLC comes with a SD70mapper.bin in the InputMapper folder. If you happened to modify the file, then that might be your problem. Also, how did you uninstall/install? Did you delete the SD70NSHP folder from your RSC folder? If you didn't, it wouldn't have correctly installed a fresh download.

I haven't modify the file or touched it, I did uninstall and deleted the SD70NSHP folder from RSC, reinstalled still having the issue with the controls not working via keyboard.

I would assume all other DLC works using the keyboard, correct?

Yes, all other DLC are working fine, just the SD70NSHP one is not.

That's quite odd. Did you modify anything regarding the pack recently?

!*don-know!*

Well, I have no clue what you need to do. I guess the next thing to do is ask Steam Support. If it correctly installed, then you should not have any problems. !*don-know!*

Yeah I reckon so, I just don't get why this dlc has issues. I've tried troubleshooting of all that I know to do and check, but with a fresh uninstall/install and still have the problem, it beats me. **!!bang!!** !*don-know!*

I know my own content works, but maybe others might have the same issue? Sorry it's not working. I wish I could help further, but I haven't the slightest clue as to how I could help you. *!sad!*

For me, once in a while the keyboard controls don't want to work properly, but usually it does.

What did you do when it didn't work, or what would you recommend?
