Derailing - Quickdrive vs Free Roam

Unread postby Cardinal51 » Mon Dec 26, 2016 9:37 am

I have noticed a lot (I guesstimate 3 out of 10 trips) of derailing in various quickdrive scenarios due to switches being set incorrect.

Is there a setting to fix this ?

Untill now I never tried Free Roam yet and perhaps that might get rid of these derailments ,what do you think ? Unfortunately most routes and engines seem unavailable in Free Roam though.

I would recommend just using Freeroam if you're having problems with quickdrive. They are easy to make and that will allow you to use every locomotive and freight car you have. I also doubt there is is a setting to fix it. Cajon Pass (Victorville to Barstow) has a problem similar to this, but just remember to check you switches so you can change paths before you derail (if you can).
