So I recently got back re-downloading the old C36-7i, and I installed the B&O patch from the library.

Now here's where some people get confused. The engine shows up in the world editor, but once you save and return to the scenario, it dissapears.

I've been dying to get this engine to work, but just can't figure out how to fix this.

Any help is appreciated!

I take it you are one of the some people who get confused? What have you done so far so we can un=confuse you? How have you set it up so far?

I dragged the assets into my RW directory. After that I installed the C36-7i B&O patch from the library.

To make the engine work:
1: Create a new scenario that you want the engine in
2: Click the blue triangle with the orange rectangle on the items flyout
3: Click on Ded Mozai on the right screen flyout
4: Click on all the boxes to where two green check marks show
5: Click the triangle pointing down that's next to the name of the file
6: Click on CHINA
7: Check off all the boxes so the green check marks show up
8. It's been a while but I think the horn is aliased to one of the Kuju horns so that needs to be checked also.

Cab view aliased to Kuju UP SD40. Outside looks fantastic, inside, not so much.

Yeah, but now you have more options for aliasing the cab.
There are several U-boats available now.

It is even possible to alias the NS C36-7's cab.

Buzz, I tried that, and it's still not working. All the required assets are checked off, but it still doesn't show up.

Maybe if you sent your assets over it could work.

So I completely removed my assets, and dropped yours in. Same results as mine being installed. However I just thought of the same problem on another freeware model, but that model works on Sherman Hill (I tested this on TesTrak). I'm going to see if it works on Sherman Hill and report back.

We need a beta tester. My upload to Zek works fine here and it won't run for him. Anybody out there not have the free C36-7i or has one that doesn't work right and would be willing to try this?

Not sure this is relevant but the one i have and use is the Ded Mozaj and it has the engine folder and another Subfolder Called China..now outside of the Ded Mozaj fold is another folder called China which contains the RWSO soundpack for the C36-7i could that be what's stopping his from working..and on a side note the one i use the only issue with it is the headlight is a little wonky has a kinda black squarebox around the headlights other than that it works if he is missing that other folder containing the soundpack i'll zip and give it to him

China sub folder? Didn't get that in the package.
