Would there be any way to change where the F40PH gets it's sounds from? I would be nice if I could have something other than the default SD40-2 sounds. Specifically the horn. I'm working on a custom one for the new repaint that came out today.

Of course, you can alias the sounds to any other engine.
Presnetly they are already aliased to the default SD40, but you could change that to, say, the DTG F40PH.

Of course, but how. There are no proxyxml files for the horns and bell. Do you have the unit so you know what I'm talking about?

There are, it's just looking at the SD40's horn proxyxml. What I did before I had the F40PH DLC is make a copy of the proper xml and bin files and changed them so that they would read the horn files I wanted them to look at. I also changed the F40PH's xml in order for it to look for the right xml.

Hold on a second folks. If you are going to alias it to another horn you just change the engine bin file. It's under Children. It has nothing to do with proxy bins or xmls or whatever.
