FOV glitched

Just booted up TS as normal today and as soon as I loaded a route, the camera was zoomed in way too much (FOV) and i could not move back to see the controls. Nothing happened following me removing the line that makes you sit back further....any way to restore it back?

Verify cache if just a restart doesn't fix it.

That will erase my mods.

What route. If a DTG one just untick it in the items window on your steam library page and wait about 30 seconds then tick it again and the route will download again.

If the DLC has .AP packed files, your mods will not be deleted when verifying cache.
However, be sure to have at least one backup.

If you have backups of the camera bin files try restore that and see if it changes.

Have you run through this tutorial to see that something is not fouled up in your settings?

Lets be clear on "Verifying the game cache"
It only checks DTG/RSC files - nothing else, using a checksum algorithm. The main folders it checks are the "ASSETS" and "CONTENT" folders the usual ones that changes, etc have been made.
It merely overwrites any DTG/RSC (ONLY) file(s) that may have been changed/modified by 3rd party add-ons such as some reskins, physics mods, AP sound files and so on.
If you have extracted an .ap file - it may well overwrite (with empty folders) or remove those extracted files because it expects only to find the .ap file, and it returns that file to the original .ap file structure. In this case scenario files are usually left untouched.
If you have modified a file in the .ap structure then that modified .ap file will be replaced with a default one from the central database.
It will NOT remove a corrupt 3rd party or WS scenario/route that may be stopping TS 2016 from running/loading.
It does NOT remove any 3rd party routes, scenarios - it doesn't even know that they exist.

To the OP see my suggestion about deleting the playerprofiles.bin file over on the Steam Community forums.

See posts above some information on cache verification as a solution to the OP's problem needed clarification and I gave an answer to his problem on another forum. !!*ok*!!

All the cab bin files have been untouched. It occurs with all engines so it is probably a game problem. Already cleared all temporary blueprints, problem still there. In the screenshots note that I have NOT changed the zoom.

Is this the mouse zoom or the keyboard zoom ? Using the keyboard you can zoom in further or out further than using the mouse.
