I just ran the ALP46 in a night scenario for the first time and noticed that the headlight illuminates nothing. It shines brilliantly at the engine, but not on track or scenery. The ditch lights offer a little light down on the track directly in front of the engine.

Haven't seen anyone else mention this.

Hey thanks for digging this up and sharing your pain. Yes, the whole doggone NJCL route is beautiful, the rolling stock looks great and, most important to this issue, the route at night is illuminated beautifully as well with great atmosphere. But the one engine I enjoy the most, pulling those fabulous multi-level cars, is blind at night.

FYI, I did file a ticket with DTG and received a quick response, so they are aware it needs attention. I'm probably not the only one to do that. You can do it too here: http://dovetailgames.kayako.com/ The more folks complain, the better.

It helps me to know others are suffering too!

I always activate the ditch lights when running in the dark as well. Makes it *slightly* better.

Yep, better but only slightly. Funny you should respond - when I first discovered the issue you are the first person I thought of, wondering if your mods may have included the headlight. But I'm sure if you were able to do that you would certainly have done so by now.

My apologies for not responding earlier. I just submitted a ticket for the ALP-46. I also included several other locomotives, EMUs, and cab cars as well.
