When I go to clone my route to try to make some major changes on it, it's crashing the sim like this. I also tried this with another route and it crashed with the same error as well.
Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?

I have run into that same issue trying to clone Castle Rock but not the included scenarios or other routes. No idea what the cause is though.

Do you have many scenarios? They cause a problem sometimes making clones.

I've never made a list, but I have discovered a few things that crash the sim during memory intensive actions, when your paging file has been turned off.
Many software programs need a page file on the hard drive, even if you have lots of RAM. (those programs are designed to run with a page file)
This also applies to a smallish page file.
Also, turning off the drive's indexing can cause issues with some programs. It shouldn't but does.
I've also noticed that my SSDs slow noticeably with indexing turned off.

Did you ever find the problem?
My route is also doing this.
No real hint, except for a vague message when running with LogMate - it tells you where in the code the crash occurs, but not which file or asset is being used.

Have you tried cloning it with RWTools? I have had great success using it.

I haven't did anything on that route since I replaced computers, it's no longer needed anylonger, now that I'm on the Zephyr Route.

Hi Buzz,
That's what I ended up doing. Thank you!
