Today I downloaded and installed the Texture Fix file for the GoRail unit, yet when I place it on the tracks it still has the original appearance with no changes. I tried clearing the cache, restarting, even uninstalled using the utilities program and re-installed it, but still no changes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can do to get the updated texture to appear?

Idk why this is but I've had this problem too, I some how got it to work but I can't remember how.

Try turning your graphics settings up to 'highest', then take a look at the unit. If that fixes it, then the repainted did not include a '.nmc' (or some name like that) file for the textures, which renders them for lower graphics settings.

Where did you get the file from?

This was one of my older repaints, back before I knew about the NM and NMC textures. I will look at it and upload another fix today after shool.

I went in to look, and for me everything is where it should be. This engine does not use NM/NMC files, but one file instead for both. Have you tried redownloading and reinstalling?

Yes I did. I completely removed the original and re-installed it, along with the update. Cleared cache, rebooted...still no change.

I honestly can't remember where I got the original file from. I think it was from the file library here. The texture update file I downloaded from the file library here yesterday.

I just deleted everything and re-installed again, going to se if anything changed.

The original is from this file library.

Ok, I thought so, but me being the old fart I am with a memory that likes to wander I couldn't be sure

Did another delete and re-install and still no change. Very weird. Oh btw, I did adjust the graphics as you suggested.

I think it's that the black is grey and white is tan. But I can't remember.
