Pacific Surfliner

Unread postby miata54 » Fri Sep 25, 2015 2:21 pm

I just bought this today on the RW sale at Steam. Upon completion of the transaction, Steam downloaded it to my copy of RW. Opening up RW, I found that Pacific Surfliner was no where to be found in the Standard or Freeroam scenario menu's. I did however find it in the Quick Drive menu. Anyone know why this would be this way? RW Tools also does not list it in its Route Building Tools menu. This is the first time I have ever experienced this with any Steam/RW DLC.

Thanks

Chris

Lots of route DLC do not come with standard or free roam scenarios.

The Pacific Surfliner is one of those. Nothing is wrong here.

Look in the career tab. You can change them to standard if you want.

All the newer routes and DLC come with career scenarios only.
You can unpack the RouteProperties.xml from the .ap folder, then RW_Tools will see it.
You can make the ScenarioProperties.xml visible to RW_Tools the same way.
No need to unpack the whole .ap file, just unpack those two xmls.
