How to change the path of TS screenshots

Unread postby OpenRailer90 » Sat Aug 22, 2015 2:53 pm

In addition to the usual screenshot path for Steam screenshots (Steam\userdata\XXXXX\XXX\remote\24010), how can I change the path of the pictures of the TS201XX screenshots always saved in My Pictures? It populates mine and want them all to be saved in another folder (Preferably My Pictures\Railworks in addition to remote\24010). Any method?

Yeah the whole thing is weird. They post them in "My Pictures" and in the separate folder. I've tried to clean them all out a couple of times, both on the PC and online and they also mysteriously come back over time.
The ones in My Pictures don't come back, but the other folders rebuild. !*not-ok*!

You could just use the print screen key on your keyboard to take them but, then you would have to paste it into Windows paint or what ever and then save it to wherever you like.

Yes but if you wanted the hud in the picture you don't get it. Doing it through the keyboard you get the hud which you might need a picture of for reporting a problem.

You can specify the Steam common screenshot folder:
Click on the Steam menu item in the upper left,
Click Settings,
Select In-Game and Click, a window opens,
Click the SCREENSHOT FOLDER button,
select a path to your desired directory and select wether you want uncompressed copy files.

Don't know if these uncompressed copies are sensible, as you cannot upload large picture files as attachment to a posting here at RWA.
You should experiment some.

You can set some other options there as well, like a FPS counter.
