Repairing the Road lofts on the NEC Route

Unread postby springer6 » Sat Aug 15, 2015 5:29 pm

On the RSC issued NEC Route ( New York to Philadelphia ), some of the road lofts have not worked properly since about TS2013. The cars and trucks travel off to the side of the road lofts on the 4 lane tarmac highways for example ( other two way traffic road lofts seem to work ok ). This is very disconcerting , especially when cars "fly" over the top of the train tracks instead of driving on the roads ( as they do just south of Trenton station ). This fault spoils what is otherwise a good high speed US route.

RSC and DTG have never and don't seem likely to issue a fix for this. The latest TS2015 update has done nothing to address it.

Does anyone know if and how these road lofts can be fixed ? Alternatively, could other working similar US type road lofts be substituted from another route such as New York -New Haven ? Or could the traffic feature of the faulty lofts be deleted altogether as no road traffic on selected roads would be preferable to flying cars ?

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

You'll have to edit the lane width in the traffic manager blueprint assigned to that particular road loft.
Cheers!
