Railworks America

More times than I care to admit; I find myself with the emergency break applied and the train stop. And I can't get the breaks turned offed and the train running again.

What is the procedure to get the train running again. (I just realized if you apply the train brake at 100% the train goes into emergence stop. )

Any help will be appreciated. As I have no idea what I'm doing.

I tried searching to no avail.

Good idea to let people know what loco you are referring too.

You've gotta wait for the train to come to a stop before the brakes will release.

You're kidding, right? Every DLC engine comes with a users' manual. If you bought the engine separately, you received its own, separate manual. If the engine is part of the rolling stock sold with a route, the engine's functions are explained in the route manual. For really elementary questions like yours, there's the TS2015 User Guide. You'll find all of these manuals in your installation at Steam > SteamApps > common > RailWorks > Manuals > EN (or whatever your language is).

There are also tutorials available within the game.

You can also find the manuals here if a DTG product. Good place to look before you buy a DLC.

Thanks for all the information; especially the manuals. They will be helpful in the future.

I'm still not sure what I was doing wrong but now I have a few ideas of what to do but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. (Cataract surgery still has things a little blurry but It's getting better every day) Does that mean I'm getting old. It feels like it.

Dave, don't despair about cataract surgery. I had it about three years ago: complete recovery took a few days, but my eyesight returned to what it hadn't been for a number of years (during which my wife kept telling me that I should have my cataracts checked and I kept saying that I didn't have cataracts). Corraggio! (courage!) Oh, and tell yourself, "I'm not getting old, I'm getting better".

I like that idea. I'm getting better is a good way to look at it. It's just that all those eye drops keep getting in the way.

If I'm getting better think how good I'll be after I get my eye lid surgery done in a couple of weeks.

Have to go now. It's time for more eye drops .
