Little trouble with signalling

Hey commu,

I try to build a new route, but i have some troubles about placing signals. Dwarfs works very well, but not all ''tall'' signals work as I want.
I built a cross and would to place signals for every way...but the ones on the main route are red every time.
Another problem is to face out which signal I have to use...the names don't say anything to me ( BNSF Tall 2H1T 40/40 for example).
I'm from Germany and don't know the correct signalling in the USA.

Hope someone can teach it to me in a way I understand it. The tutorial ingame doesn't really let me know what I have to do and how I place them.

Sibell on the web site in the Learning Center are a set of excellent youtube tutorials for placing and explaining about the signals. It is what I used to learn how to do it. The x crossing you have though is going be a problem. No one has really been able to signal that in TS2015 or earlier. But if you watch all the tutorials it should help you out a lot.

It it hard to tell where you have placed the signal links for the signals from your screen shot. But 1T signal links should work. The signal (1T) have two links, one at the signal and the second placed on the opposite side of the crossing track. The second link must NOT be placed in the track section of the crossing but beyond that track section. I have done this successfully many times. The crossing signals will show red in all directions until a path is going across the crossing. I do recommend using RCAP signals instead of the original TS signals.
