Attached is a screenshot on Cajon Pass, headed towards San Bernardino.

If I recall correctly, there's a quirk in the programming which causes mountains to be blue, or in some cases, appear to be transparent. !*don-know!*

Am I correct here?

Thanks,

Rob :D

Looks like a perfectly acceptable shot to me.

Yea, it's supposed to be like that... but the haze is a bit strong.

Is the haze something I can modify?

Change the height of the fog in the weather files.

The fog is too blue on all the older routes.

How do I change the height of the fog? I had no idea that could be done.

You don't need to change anything as that blue haze is natural. Perhaps you don't live in an area where you can see mountains everyday like I do. Some days the blue haze is really bad but on other days after rain the haze has almost gone.

Try using the new 3d weather and see if that fixes the problem. I'm poking around trying to remember what we did with this issue.

Its just personal taste, but I don't mind the 'blue' distant mountains. The weather setting for the scenario will change the distance at which they change from visible to 'blue'. I guess thats a function of the fog settings.
