Eyein12's Trash Car

Unread postby TheRailfan98 » Tue Mar 10, 2015 1:29 pm

So I was messing around with my USWX trash car repaints on NYNH when I noticed that the trucks on the car were turning in the opposite direction of the curve. Here's a picture:

I thought it may just be a problem with the repaint itself but turns out eyein12's original does it too **!!bang!!**

I stuck them into my TS2014 backup to see if if it was just a TS2015 problem but they do it there too. So I'd like to know is this a problem everyone with the trash car is having or is it just me? If everyone's having this issue perhaps Ian should look into it.

Thanks,
Brandon :D

If I had to guess I would say that the pivot point for the bogies in the blueprints are off.

I suspect that the bogies are following the curve of the track and that the way the wheels are aligned is normal. Much like the steerable rear wheels on ladder trucks used by fire departments to get around curves and corners.
