Unstoppable rolling stock

Unread postby CPRailfan34 » Mon Dec 01, 2014 3:51 pm

I recently downloaded the rolling stock from Amtrack505 and found the three bay hoppers are missing textures and one does show through, other than that the rolling stock looks great! and I gave the engines to a friend and the interior view was glitched and freezes the game. any help would help thanks. !!det!!

Hi, and welcome.
You will have to be a little more specific than "the rolling stock from Amtrack505 " and "the engines".
Please provide links to the RWA file library assets.

Thanks for the welcome, !!howdy!!

the Unstoppable Rolling stock is here:

http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... k-repaints

and the Locos are here:

http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints

hope these links are of any help, thanks for looking into this. I will post screenshots of the rolling stock issues, as for the engines, it was my friend who discovered the issues with the locos and relayed the information to me.

!!bang!! The images have to be uploaded to the internet first, you can't copy the directory for the image from your computer. !*roll-laugh*! You can upload the image as an attachment when posting a comment for the image to show up.

Oops! !DUH! I was trying to find the attach button but couldn't find it. !*don-know!* I am new to this forum but have been with the NERW forums for sometime now as the same ID as this one. The NERW forums are a little easier to upload attachments to from my experience. But then again not every forum layout is the same.

Never mind, Found it! !*YAAA*! Didn't realize it was a tab next to the options tab. !DUH! !*roll-laugh*!
Man I feel like an idiot! !DUH! They need a facepalm smiley!

Thanks for the reply

I had the same problem with the cab view on the engines. IIRC (this was a while back, sorry) it was a missing file, the couplers.bin from the original. I think. !*don-know!* (my post about this problem is/ was here somewhere)

Does anyone know the remedy for this missing textures depicted in the post above? As I am curious as to why they are missing. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

The downloaded package should contain a readme file that specifies files that must be moved around before these models will display correctly -- or, perhaps, the repainter doesn't know about that necessity, either.

Well these instructions aren't too complete. Do you have Great Northernor's GN PS2-LO pack? You need it because it uses some shared files. Here is a copy of the file you need.

Then it should look like this.

Hello, !!howdy!! thanks for the info I will double check the hoppers and the read me file and I do have all the LO 3 bay hoppers in each of the liveries that comes from the golden age of railroading site. *!!thnx!!* I will see if I can get them to look proper as you depicted, although I have to say that the Prixton rail car is the most stunning of the pack. Just my opinion. Anyways thanks. And I will post images after the fix in return. I have noticed the Murrigan car is missing the numbers mask as well.
