Monon F7 - No horn or bell sounds

Unread postby DapperDan » Mon Nov 03, 2014 1:06 pm

Hope I'm posting in the correct forum. I downloaded and installed this Loco per the exe file and everything's working fine with the exception of the horn and bell. I have no sounds associated to these. I took a look in the F7A_SPRR.xml file (not sure this is the correct place to be looking) and I found a section regarding the horn, where it's pointing to the EmpireBuilderPack01 and a file called "F7 Horn Sound.xml" which I don't have. If I'm looking in the right file is there a way I can fix it so I can get the horn and bell to work.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I did do that. Change the wording right where you found it to the following:

<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">RailSimulatorUS</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\F7\Cab\F7 Horn Sound.xml</BlueprintID>

The only thing you need to change is The RSC to Kuju and the EmpireBuilder01 to RailSimulatorUS.

I kinda thought that's what I had to do, but wasn't sure.

Thanks Buzz.

Made the changes to the xml file, saved it and fired up TS only to have no sound. Thought about it for a couple minutes before my 25W bulb of a brain kicked in. Converted the xml file to a bin file and wouldn't ya know it, I have bells and whistles.
