Acela In TS2015 - Need Answers

I'm trying to find answers to the following:

1 - In the 2015 version, the Acela seems to have lost separate Dynamic Braking, as the brake handle seems to control both. Is this correct?

2 - How do I operate Cruise Control? Is the Cruise Control handle (formerly the Dynamic Brake handle) used for any purpose?

3 - In the scenario "Acela Express on Northeast Corridor" I reached Newark Penn, only to have an AI train on the same track. Is there a problem with this scenario, or is it my timing? I reached the station on schedule.

Thanks,

Rob :D

The cruise control handle in the Acela is supposed to be the dynamic brake handle. At the same time, the cruise control function does not work. Not sure about the third question you're asking.

John:

Re my third question, I'm curious if the scenario is faulty, i.e. has anybody been able to complete it? I'm thinking there's a programming error vs. my arriving too early.

Did you finish the scenario in the 2014 or 2015 version? If 2015 version, did you get a red signal at Newark Penn?

I tried pressing "K" but the speed won't stay the same, again in the 2015 version.

2015 it would never work in 2012 2013 or 2014 and no red light and k works fine for me sorry
edit: You need to be sure to have the throttle on before you hit the k key or it will not work and it will fluctuate +/- 1mph

I just tried it a bunch of times, and it doesn't work for me either, at least in any predictable manner.

I know that the cruise control use to work. I got NEC when it first came out 7th June 2012. From memory to use the cruise control K key or the cruise control knob on the left hand panel I would accelerate to the desired speed then turn cruise control on and it would maintain speed but now it won't.
