Train always derails in 2015.

So here is my issue..

Whenever I select a consist to run on in Quick Drive, everything loads up fine without errors. But eventually, after running the train for about four miles or so, I get the derailment camera (view that spins around the lead locomotive) and I get the derailment message. Nothing was in my way, or collided into me.

Later on, I discovered that this problem was not a bug with the route, because while I was driving another train on the Sherman Hill route, I derail out of nowhere and get the error message.

Eventually I decided to stop using Quick Drive and create my own Free Roam scenarios (on Coal District, Sherman Hill, Marias Pass, and New York-New Haven) to see if this method would get rid of the annoying bug. Nope! My train still derails about four miles from the starting point! Nothing was in my way, a switch was not lined against me, and there was not another train that collided into me. I just randomly derail whenever I'm minding my own buisness!

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with TS2015? If not, does anyone have any ideas that may get rid of this problem? Thanks in advance.

What locomotive? Have you tried another one?

Yeah we kinda need more details about the problem like specific route where the derailments are taking place, what loco, stock, etc. So far I've done some quick drives on the Surfliner Route using the 4449 and a consist of G-Trax Daylight cars and nothing's happened to me.

It's literally every locomotive and freight car I have re-installed from TS2014; the UP SD60M, the NS ES44AC in Coal District, the P32AC-DM, the ES44DC in Marias Pass, everything. It's also every route, too. Marias Pass, Sherman Hill, NS Coal District, and New York-New Haven. Long story short, everything I have has fallen victim to this issue. I think it's just an annoying bug on the version I own.

Also, the rolling stock is the freight cars from the Canadian Mountain Passes route, Marias Pass, and a few others that I do not remember right off the top of my head.

EDIT - would anyone recommend re-installing 2015?

The only time I've experienced this with Quick Drive is on Donner Pass. I cannot remember the location pairs that cause it. The game would plop the train down on track and not line the switches correctly. So as soon as you pull a truck across the points, you get a derailment.

If it is indeed affecting every route and locomotive...that's very odd, and certainly something a verify cache should fix.

Thank you, I will see what will happen when I verify the cache.

Hi,

I have the same problem in the game. Every train in every map was derailed after some time.

But I find a solution. I download the files and paste it again in game folder. So it is the fixes to the game

I replaced the files codex.ini, steam_api.cdx, steam_api.dll and the plugin folder with file GameManager.dll with new files. They said that they fix the bug with these files.

I applied them and it seems the problem is gone. After replacing I play the game about 3 hours and no problem found.

Please try that.
