I had to delete my railworks from my computer because of a file I deleted by mistake. But I installed it again and had a back-up on a USB flash drive, it's been two days and the Norfolk Southern Mon Line won't show up and also the SD80mac.

Look in the DTG folder and see if the SD80MACPack01 is there. Then look in the RSC and see if there is a PennCoal folder there. Than report back.

I am having this same problem. The folders show up where nessisary but in the game NOTHING. I have emailed DTG about it but just the Same stupid automated email over and over again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times but no such luck. The routes that are missing are, Mon Line, CMP, Donner, Cajon, and The Kuju assets. I really do need help with this one.

Have you (do you know how?) verified your local cache? You should never have to delete the game and start over.

Go to steam menu, library right click on Train Simulator 2014. Left click on properties. On that new screen one tab will say 'Local Files'. The bottom choice is VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE. Click on it. This will take some time so be patient. This should check and add your missing stuff back into the game.

What I normally do that fixes it is instead of going to the properties tab, as buzz mentioned, go to the dlc tab. Double click the check box of the dlc that won't install and it should start.

I had the same problem
when I do Verify local files, it freezes on 0% progress, and nothing happens
I tried to cancel verification, deleted and reinstalled steam client
now, Train Simulator refused to start with "Invalid depot config" message

I love how some people start a thread asking for help and never follow up.

I cured this problem, but it was quite time consuming
1) deleted steam client and re-installed
2) backed up some locally modified content (or non-steam content)
3) deleted Train Simulator game from steam client, and re-installed the game and every add-on I bought from Steam
4) bingo!
it took 2 hours or so

What I don't understand is deleting the whole Rail Works. I have got the game on two machines and I have never ever had to delete the game. I have always just verified local content when I had a problem.

Some folks like to take the long way 'round: gives them the joy of involving everyone else in their problem.
