I recently purchased this from the marketplace and have enjoyed it so far. The last 2 days I have been trying to copy the default to do a repaint,.. I had an idea for but for some reason it won't show up in game. You can hear it clicking on the rails and it makes a space where it should be when inserted between 2 cars but that's all. It's like it is not reading the GEO. I have done this literally hundreds of times without fail I'm missing something somewhere. I even tried it with rw tools and got the same results. Has anyone else been able to make a copy to repaint or can someone try and maybe send me the bin if successful so I can see where I'm going wrong? Any help would be great thanks.

There are a couple of items that reference the textures in the geo file and are hard coded that way. Some of the heritage repaints were like that. Stops you from making a copy. Not sure if this is the case, but you can open the geo with RW Tools to look at it.

I'm pretty sure that this is not one of them since I have a NS, MRL and CN all done by third parties in my SD70pack2.

This is the CSX SD70 pack 04 I havent had a chance to try any of the suggestions been too busy at work. You could name it anything I can always change it or at least see what the problem is. I am leaning towards what Bob mentioned.

Somehow I got lead astray by what the D/L said. That is that you had to have Pack2 for the thing to work so I assumed that's where it went.

OKAY I have this thing and I can't even find it. Where the heck is it?

Mine is in this folder.

Hmm. I don't have a pack4. I wonder if the thing D/L after I paid for it?

Pack4 is the CSX repaint from the marketplace and is in .AP format. You'll need to extract it from the .AP file before you can do anything with it.

This is the one that was $4.99 right? I don't have any Pack4 unless it's lurking somewhere else.

You're correct Sir!

SD70Pack04_CSX_BY is what mine is called in the RSC Folder.

Check your DLC under the properties tab on steam,the box may be unchecked. If so it never downloaded it should be checked by default but you never know for sure.

OK where is the properties tab under steam?
