NEC NY-NH Seems to be missing signal assets...

Unread postby fraserm » Thu Aug 07, 2014 9:57 am

Hi, guys and gals. I've searched for this and haven't found any others experiencing this problem. I was running a set of Workshop scenarios called "Bronx Bins" and it finally hit me when I was on Part 2 of the scenario - my NEC NY-NH is missing many signal heads! To check if it was scenario-related (don't know why it would be...) I ran a QD from my high-res desktop that has everything maxed out. This is the view from the Acela cab:

There should be a set of signal heads right in front of me, but I see nothing (to quote Sgt. Schultz...)! Here's everything I've tried so that you know I've tried everything I can think of:
1.) Cleared Cache
2.) Expanded the NewYorkNewHavenAssets.ap file folder structure
3.) Unchecked and re-checked the DLC check box in the Properties tab in Steam to remove then reinstall NEC NY-NH
!*hp*!
I have NOT verified integrity of game cache in Steam yet. I really don't want to have to reinstall my 3rd party stuff, even though I have the 2-clickz routine installed on my machines.
Also, I can see some dwarf signals near and in yards and platforms, but no posts or gantry heads. **!!bang!!**
Any thoughts?
All suggestions welcome!
Thanks,
Marc

EDIT: This is in the World Editor, at each location where there should be signal heads:

I'm completely confused! !*don-know!* (Easy to do at my age...) !DUH!

Isn't it exclusively in-cab signalling here? I could be wrong, but there may not be any physical signal heads this section of the route.

Interesting! I've never experienced anything like that and I didn't realize that was a possibility.

Maybe there's no problem after all? RW_Tools says there's nothing missing, so...
I'll play a little more, then.
