Freezing Up While Building Train

For some reason, every time I'm in the middle of building a train the screen freezes and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager screen and close out Railworks, thus losing everything I had already put together.

Any suggestions or ideas on why this is happening and any tips for correcting?

*!!thnx!!*

Try clearing the blueprint cache (in Settings from the main TS menu screen). Or your PC could be running out of system memory (RAM).

I don't think it's due to memory, since I have above the required amount. However, I've never performed the "blue print" cache cleaning before, so I'll give that a try.

Thank you for the tip *!!thnx!!*

Couple of things to think about......

Have you installed any new repaints lately.? Some repaints are looking up older assets, example might be repaints ( engines and cars )that are calling up assets it needs from the old Kuju or RSDL folder. If those folders are not enabled in your filter "panel...box or whatever you call it" the sim will freeze.

Try creating your consist using only default route consist equipment, does it still freeze up?
