Can I revive a route that I deleted on accident?

Unread postby bnsf9580 » Wed Jul 02, 2014 7:26 pm

Yeah, I have a problem. I intended on deleting a route that I created just to show some locomotives. I clicked on the route in world editor main screen that I was going to play, and then I clicked scenario editor. I then noticed the route that I wanted to delete, and clicked on it, and then hit back, to take me to the route editing screen. Apparently this also took me back to the route I was going to play, and I ended up deleting it on accident..... It was a custom made route of Union Pacific's Belvidere Sub from Rockford, IL to West Chicago, and I had plenty of good scenarios. Yeah, had. Any way I can "undo" this action? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Idiot Trevor. xD

Are you using windows backup? If so. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... eted-files

Or by chance did it go into your recycle bin? Retrieve it from there.

No and unfortunately no... The folder that the route was in inside the Content folder is there, but it's now empty, and the only stuff in the recycle bin is stuff that I hadn't emptied yet, so thanks for that lol but yeah, I don't know where it would have went otherwise... That's depressing... *!sad!*

I kind of don't want to give up, but then again I kind of just want to rebuild the whole thing again. I hadn't put THAT much into the scenery, it was mainly just a poor track laying job haha. I think I will just rebuild it, and this time put more work into it, make it more perfect. And save a back up !!*ok*!! Eh, whatever. It needed to be fine tuned anyways haha
