Keyboard Loss of Control

In a scenario I am building in COA 4.5 I am driving the train, and at a certain place in the route I loose control of the engine (train). The throttle and brakes are no longer working from the keyboard. The controls move on the screen, but the train is no longer responds.
Please, does anyone have a solution.
