TS 2014 Crashes and Desktop Manger Crashing.

Anybody else seem to be getting the Stack Dump Errors and then Your Desktop Manager crashes thereafter. I remember TS 2013 doing it too after I got Windows 7 and the new computer. I never had this issue back with XP. Do you think it's some sort of bug with Win 7 or is TS crashing and burning?

Last TS Stack Dump Crash was 11/30/2013. "TS 2014 - V38.3a.dmp (Crashed while playing Industrial interactive. I think)

Today's crash on 5/17/2014. "TS2014 - V39.3a.dmp" (Crashed while using the RWA Lakeside Route)

Plenty of other routes have crashed including, but not limited to. Marias Pass, Stevens Pass, NERW, Ann Arbor, HSC, etc.

What is your computer specs? I think this is usually a resource issue of some sort. You may have to dial back some of your settings. Do you have the 64bit win7? Win7 definitely uses more memory to run but in my opinion is vastly more stable than XP ever was. Let me know here or by PM and I'm sure we can sort this out. I can't remember the last time my RW crashed.

It's a rare occurrence. Generally it happens when some cars aren't cooperating.

If it happens again I'll let you know.

That's a great unit. I bet it's the video card causing these problems or lack therein. You can get top shelf performance on RW for well less the $200.00 so don't think you need to spend a fortune on a update. On my one machine I have a GTX550ti and it's pretty good, not the best but less than $100.00.

just keep in mind that the GTX 650 is the 550's successor.
I'd still recommend at GTX 770 if a person can afford it. Or wait for the new 800 series. Nvidia seems a little slow in getting those 800 cards out.

It could still be other problems, like a hardware device failing under heavy load.

If we could afford it we would all have computers like Krellnut. Then we could challenge the NSA.

After thinking about this for awhile I had an epiphany. We could network all our computers together into a "TrainBot".
