This is highly annoying, and I think it's about time we can be able to customize keyboard shortcuts. I've heard you can modify shortcuts for loco operations, but not for for instance turning on consist numbers (F7 Key). For some reason I can't get them to turn on when I press F7, so it would be nice to change it to anywhere between 1-9 or a-z. This is the best train sim around, why is it so difficult to make this a feature? I just don't understand.

OK, yeah, from your other Topic, this is a laptop, and "F" keys don't always work. So see my reply to your other Topic. (why post in two different places? )

Because the other post was a technical question, and this post is a suggestion to the devs for customization in the future (hopefully near future), that's why.

Dev suggestions should go to Dovetail. They occasionally read here but this isn't the proper place. I suggest you write to them even tho it's sounds like a problem with your laptop not their issue.

On some laptops the F keys double for hardware function keys. It could be that your function key (its a blue 'Fn' on my laptop) is stuck on.

Could a possible problem be that Hot Keys isn't enabled in Windows?

Does F6 alone work?
If F6 works then F6 and F7 must! (You must press F6 then F7 for this to work as Chris says above - see Ts2014 Manual)
Using F6 then F7 doesn't always show up the consist numbers - it depends on how the scenario was written.
