Previously working physics mods no longer functioning properly...

Unread postby FanRailer » Tue Apr 22, 2014 3:30 pm

As evidenced by the title, quite a number of the physics mods I have made for TS2014 no longer seems to function properly (failure to load). I was notified of this problem via youtube, and I proceeded to test it myself, and found the issue extends to my copy of TS2014 as well. Does anyone have a good explanation for this phenomenon?

Are your modified engine and simulation bin files, csdv files etc. still present? Did you verify game files? Did Steam slip in updated asset packs without you knowing?

These are my guesses. I also have the impression particular engine parameters are stored with the scenario, esp. the current career and scripted scenarios.

Yea, everything is still there. I haven't done anything else yet though. I'll worry about this stuff when the semester ends. Until then, I'm holding off on any physics mods.
