Missing Marker Error

I'm trying to create a scenario for the NEC, starting in the yard in Philadelphia, hooking to parked cars, then going to the station. I've placed my rolling stock and set up the instructions. When I try to play the scenario, I get "Missing Marker xxx" for each route point that is specified (Race St Yard xx, Philadelphia LL xx). These are all markers that are selected from the dropdown in the timetable view.
Is this an error, or possibly some corrupted files? Or did I do a real simple screwup?

Check the rail numbers that interact with those markers you may not have all the numbers or you may have a number where there is no car for.

Rechecked everything. Reinstalled TS 2014. Cars on proper track/siding. I have instruction to 'add to back' and have the proper track selected where the cars are, and the proper car numbers. I go to run/test, and I get the error. Nothing else going on. Happened in both NEC route and NY/New Haven route

Have you tried selecting the markers by clicking on them in the map instead of selecting them from the dropdown?
