The Workshop List seems to be back

Unread postby maxsdad » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:26 pm

The Workshop List is back.
I just noticed that the full list came up when I was in TS2014. Don't know what happened but it's there.
Please verify that I'm not going CRAZY!!!!!

For me, neither of the workshop lists (outside or inside TS) ever went away, although the in-game list was certainly cranky for a few days. Of course, I don't keep dozens of items in long-term storage; once I've played a scenario, I usually remove it and go looking for others. For once, I'm not pack-rattish about something!

I do the same but the trouble is that once you have played them they are then dl on your computer for ever until you remove them with RW-Tools or Windows itself.
They take up a lot of space and resources.\ and you can spend hours removing them.
However the .ap structure helps as these CW scenarios are store in a separate scenario folder outside the .ap file and can be removed rapidly if you know what dates they were installed or run.
Glad they are back.

Thanks for this information, but where are they stored?

First a person has to unsubscribe from the unwanted Workshop scenario/s, then you have to unlock the route and use the scenario editor to permanently remove the unwanted scenario/s.
Then relock the route for protection.
It's easier if you know how to use RW_Tools, but you can use the standard ingame scenario editor if you know how.

I almost forgot to add. A person can unsubscribe in the Workshop list in your Collection, or go online and do it in the Workshop itself.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

Each workshop scenario that you have opened and run is stored under a "Scenario" folder in the appropriate route file. You can use the TS2014 editor (some won't open with the editor and you can't delete them - but I find it easier to use RW_Tools or Windows itself. RW-Tools is great as it identifies the CW scenarios by color - bright blue - but tedious because you can only do one at a time.
I've asked RSC about this about a year ago but no solution to date.
