Problems with "dressing up" an Underpass under yard

I have laid down a section of straight road underneath some yard tracks. To complete the underpass I wanted to Install a Concrete Wall Filler ( as found in Pacific Surfliner) on either side of the road. Installing was easy by using the Select and Offset tools. But one Filler was facing the road with the open side. As it was on a straight stretch, I could just turn it 180 degrees.
Real problems began when trying to install Highway Retaining Walls on the rest of the road after the wall filler.
From whatever end of the road I used the Select Tool the result was always the same: one side was open.

Is there a "trick" that can be used to get the proper side facing the road?

Thanks for any help.

After you've selected the track or whatever you're creating the offset from you need to reverse the direction of the yellow arrows before selecting the asset you want to place. To do this you just click on them and you'll see them point the other way and your loft will be created the other way round.
