Ambient light

Is there a general way to decrease the ambient light when a scenario is set for a night scene?

Not always. I like to run in foggy or rainy nights.

I don't think so yet. However it would be nice to see a feature like that in Train Simulator 2015. What I don't get is why is it so bright so early in the morning in Railworks, there shouldn't be much of any light until about 5 a.m. or so.

I've seen very dark scenarios. Maybe you should try different weather patterns.

Thanks for the replies. I agree that some scenarios are dark. Sherman Hill's The Midnight Magnet is one. But when I take the same weather pattern (shcloudywispy) and same time of day and apply it to a different scenario (Tennessee Pass Mintum Start) then I get the full moon effect.

This is really a non-issue as its all good. I was just curious if there was a setting in some core game file that could be adjusted.

As Chacal indicated, the amount of light available at any given time is set in the weather blueprints.
Cheers!
