Just tested it, worked fine. Explain some more what is not working. Any kind of error message? What exactly is happening.

It says there's a list of Payware that's required but Kinnie didn't put the list under Description. I don't wanna download the entire route to get the readme file. Tom, if you are missing any of the "dependencies" (payware, or even more freeware) that this route needs, it may not run. Check that list and make sure you have all the required "stuff".

Tom - If you are referring to the driving controls (ie throttle, brake), pressing Function (fn) + F4 on your keyboard will make the controls appear and disappear.
Also, in the settings menu, the item called Driving Model gives you an option of the type of driving controls you prefer.

*&!welcome!&*

OK, I went ahead and downloaded the route. Did you get both files? Main file then a fix.

Now, as I said earlier, you need to get these dependencies for this thing to work right. From the readme in the main package:

"Payware Assets Required:-

Rich Garber's Colton Northern or Fort Kent to Eagle Lake for the assets.

allaboardrails.com
3DTrains Rural Landscapes at 3dtrains.com
3DTrains Scale Rail at 3dtrains.com

RSDL\Foliage01

Freeware Assets:

http://www.smmdigital.net/
http://alleghany.weebly.com/index.html
http://www.rryard.com/index.html
http://members.upc.nl/s.derks/index.html
http://www.trensim.com/lib/rs/ I think this one is in Spanish
http://www.trainsim.com/ "

First two in the freeware list don't exist anymore. You may find SMM's signals in the file library here. Or them might be in the RCAP package, also in the file library here. Not sure where you're gonna get the Alleghany stuff. But it's kinda vague as to what particular assets Kinnie got from whom.
The 3D Trains Scale Rail is why you don't have tracks. You need to buy that, plus the 3D Trains rural landscape pack, and either one of those All Aboard routes for those assets. Plus the RSDL foliage pack. That one I'm not sure about, it could be in the US Assets pack in the Steam Store, or it may be in one of the US routes. I never bought it separate, but it's in my Railworks Assets list.

Seems like a lot, and it is. Some creators will bundle all the free assets in one pack, but you cannot distribute payware like that, so it's up to the person wanting the route to find and purchase it themselves.

Now you get a glimpse of why Railworks/ Dovetail get $39.95 for a route. The time needed to create the route, then to include all the different assets you need to just install and play.
