Hi all, still new to TS 2014 here, so Im sure Im goofing something up with out knowing it...
I recently added the L_N and Hlcx sd40-2 repaints to my inventory and have noticed the HLCX works fine but when I try to make a consist with just the L&N Sd40-2, it wont save. When I load the consist editor, I see it in the inventory as well as the picture of it in said consist editor, but when I save, then go to look for it, its just not there. I can add it to another engine, aka the HLCX sd40-2 and it saves/loads in game just fine. Any ideas how to fix this?

Also, the KSC SD70ACe repaints of the NS heritage units seem to display the NS sub lettering under the number, again, any help on fixing this is appreciated.

It's also not a SD70M, it's a SD70ACe, And no that problem can't be fixed. *easily*

An update... the consists I made with the L&N SD40-2 is there, sorta. I can find it, even use it in scenario editor, but cant find it in the loco/consist selection when doing any free roam scenarios.

Have you tried using the Custom Quick Drive to use your repaint and make a consist with Consist Builder? Even with this excellent tutorial by "bpetit" http://3985gtasayoutube.blogspot.com/20 ... in_22.html I couldn't wrap my head around using the editor. Tried Quick Drive, Custom menu, found my repaints and built a consist in nothing flat. But maybe for you that tutorial will help.

Thats what Ive done ( dunno why I called it Consist builder ) I go to Drive, then Quick Drive, that gives me the Quick drive settings menu. I click on "train" to change my consist/train/etc, then select Custom. From there, I search and find the L&N locomotive, which shows up, I just use the one loco to make my consist, then name it, select US for region, name it and save it. Its when I look for it back int the QD settings menu I cant find it. Now, If I add another Engine to the front, for example, the HLCX SD40-2 that was made by the same person and is installed the same ( Using the exe included ) it shows up in the QD settings menu as the Black SD40-2 but the L&N wont. Now, when Im in the scenario editing menu, like showed in the tutorial, I can find it and the numerous consists Ive made with the L&N locomotive, its just they wont show up in the selection menu in the QD settings, where one can select the train they want to use on the selected route.

Not sure what to think. I have 5 or 6 custom quick drives that are saved and run fine. Plus if I go back into the custom menu, click on new, all my repaints and stock show up fine. (wish that build list didn't take so long to load each time) Repaints never do show in the stock quick drive menu tho (I guess that's what you call it).

So far, out of all the downloaded repaints I have, the L&N SD40-2 is the only one that wont show up in the custom QD menu and so far, Ive downloaded the KCS/NS SD70ace, Furx-GCFX SD40-2,NS ES44 and the Helm SD40-2s. I may try putting the L&N unit into one of the Free Roam scenarios for Donner and see if it works that way.

I would suggest removing the L&N completely and re-installing it. It is a Kuju standard SD40-2, nothing special about it so it should behave just like all the rest of them. I'm the one who painted it and out of all of the folks who D/L it no one has mentioned anything weird. Computers are wonderful things until they make a mistake.

Sadly, Ive done that as well, a few times at that and no luck. I have the HLCX SD40-2 repaint by you and it works perfectly, matter of fact, I can add the L&N to a consist with the HLCX and it loads in game just fine. Just having issues getting it to show up in quick drive by itself.
