portals glitching?

Unread postby ConrailHeritage » Fri Dec 27, 2013 3:59 pm

I have a problem with a scenario I'm doing: my portals aren't working, meaning, my train reaches the portal, but instead of going into it, it crashes through the other side!

What instruction are you using to send your train into the portal? (Please tell me that this is an AI train, not the player!) Are you clicking on the portal marker? Are you sure that the portal you're clicking on is at the end of the track the train is traveling on?

Knowing what route your scenario runs on, the name of the portal in question, and the designation of the track leading to it would certainly help me help you.

Not being obnoxious, but yes, this is the player train.

Route: Holiday Express. (The portal fits right into the mousehole!) The portal's name is mousehole portal. What is the designation of the track? Holiday 13? hope this info helps....

:D
Portals are used to make AI trains disappear.
What were you expecting the player train to do?
This isn't the "Portal" game (awesome game, btw).

Just to provide an anti-density guarantee: Player trains c-a-n-n-o-t be sent into portals (or emerge from them, for that matter). And, just for the record, this route does not include any portals. Put together, these two statements lead to an obvious question: do you even own this route?

Yes, but I am using assets from other routes.

That explains a lot.
