driving uk class 395 emu

Unread postby gonarch » Wed Dec 25, 2013 9:08 am

perhaps someone can help me... i am unable to drive uk class 395 emu (london-faversham) because for one of the reasons stated in the manual i find myself in 'emergency brake' mode which i understand, however i am unable to get out of that mode i am stuck in emergency brake mode...

i have tried all the instructions and tips presented in the manual, nothing helps... i push both emergency buttons in all combinations, i reset AWS, i reset the vigilance device, the DRA is off, and i can not figure out what else i need to do...

there is an alarm that keeps beeping after all try all that (it is the emergency alarm?) and i am unable to stop that...

would appreciate any tips anyone might have... i cant even complete the two short training scenarios (in standard mode)
thx

i even do the following as stated in the manual and it doesnt work... after i do this the handle is shown set a notch zero

"Move the combined power / brake to the emergency position and release to deactivate the emergency alarm."

well i will post this here in case this can help someone else...

impossible for me to drive that particular engine...

so i switch to simple mode and yes now i can drive it... not the same by far but it is better than nothing...

and while i am at it, what is this thing that does emergency stop if i happen not to do anything for a minute... while i can certainly understand the need for such in the real world, it is my personal opinion that in the context of the simulator tool this is too complicated... such should be optional...

just fyi...
