Google Earth overlay is not working

Hi all. I have an issue. I can not get my Google earth overlay to work at all. I set it up, registered the API app through Google, and got the registration code. And it still does not work! It's like the feature doesn't even exist. I hit CTRL+G and nothing. Any help?

What are your in game settings for Google? Perhaps they're set too high? I find the Ctrl+G to be somewhat flaky - sometimes I need to right or left-click in a scene and try the key combo again.

Had same problem at first. If the popout box on the right doesn't appear, then the app isn't loaded. If it's there after hitting Ctrl-G then it is enabled. the trick is to move the terrain slider to the right and the height slider to the middle. if it looks like a grey sky above the terrain, you're almost there.
tilt the terrain until you are looking straight down and zoom out until the view passes thru the haze and until the overlay becomes readable.

Make sure you have the Steam Overlay turned on for in game use.

Just seeing this now. It's still not working. Bob, how do I do what you suggested about the steam overlay?

You do know that you need Google Maps not Google Earth for the overlay to work?
