From when? Look at the dates in the folder. That should tell you. If you are asking if it's to RW3 the answer is yes.

I am having a problem with this route. Since installing TrainSimulator 2013 on my new computer I have tried to run three different scenarios. The frame rates are excellent, but I have got a SBHH on all three of them. I have verified the cache twice, but I still get missing items when I run it through RW Tools.

Well then, I purchased the North East Corridor route DLC during a recent sale. And what do I discover...All the manual switches used in this route have the reversed Red and Green targets error.
ManualSwitchAspectsReversed.jpg
Please notice the junction points compared to manual switch target aspects showing in the screen capture. They're WRONG!

Has anyone else realized this error and is there a correction already published that can be applied in a similar manner that fixed the Donner Pass manual switch stand target error? Several months ago I discovered that the Donner Pass manual switch stand targets were reversed just like the switch stand targets in NEC. The Normal junction position showed a red aspect and the Reverse junction position showed a green aspect. This reversed colors error was corrected with a revised texture file that reversed the colors in the graphic to the correct prototypical aspects. A new DP_manualjunction.TgPcDx file was prepared that overwrote the original file in the \DonnerPass\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\ directory.

I have a suspicion that the MSSredgreen.TgPcDx texture file in the \NorthEastCorridor\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\ directory has reversed color swatches - Red for Green and Green for Red. And reversing the colors for these color swatches in the texture file may really be the the only fix needed.

I am just learning how to do "repaints" so I do not feel confident enough to make the changes myself. Can someone help me?

I have also noticed when I get near the Newark, NJ train station a green and gray color blocks my screen so that I cannot see where I am at.

See the thread at

viewtopic.php?f=29&t=9758

I am amazed that these issues have not been addressed after all this time, it was after-all payware.

Any refunds being offered??

Cheers

You would have thought that when RSC archived the DonnerPass route up in an .AP file that they would have corrected the Dwarf Switch target paddles color Red/Green swap. But I assumed wrong. The indications for the Junction are supposed show Red for Reverse and Green for Normal. NOT!

Also, in the NorthEastCorridor the Dwarf Switch Stand also shows the same reversal of the Red/Green target. And the Junction Level for the Dwarf Switch in NorthEastCorridor still plunges into the ground when the turnout moves from Reverse to Normal position. Just like they always were and still remain - Wrong!!!

BTW, the fix that worked for TS2013 NorthEastCorridor and DonnerPass is broken in TS2014. The fix actually makes the Dwarf Switch Stands disappear.

If I can remember what I did I'll take a look and see what can be done. I'm sure it's something simple again. It might be because they are wrapped up in the .ap file. I'll bet a buck that's what it is.

Buzz

I dug up the dwarf switch target paddle color fixes that you guys helped me with several months ago...

Fix 1) The dwarf switch stand texture file "DP_manualjunction.TgPcDx" in \Assets\RSC\MariasPass\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\ folder needs to be copied over to \Assets\RSC\DonnerPass\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\ folder. Since the DonnerPass is archived in a .AP file, I had to unpack and reconstruct the folder tree in the \Assets\DonnerPass\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\... to have the folder for the copied file to reside.

Fix 2) The dwarf switch stand texture file "MSSredgreen.TgPcDx"has the red and green color swatches reversed in \Assets\RSC\NorthEastCorridor\RailNetwork\Junctions\textures\ folder. I can't remember if I did a texture repaint myself or if you sent the correct texture file to me to copy over the bad texture file.

The fix for the TS2013 NorthEastCorridor junction lever issue is broken in TS2014.

Fix 3 ) The dwarf switch stand junction lever plunges into ground when the turnout is changed from reverse to normal position instead of swinging from in-front to in-back position. I think this one needs to have the "MSS.GeoPcDx" rebuilt to correct the animation, which is beyond my capabilities at this time. This is the bugger - when I try to copy another same Geo file from one of the other routes to over-write the old file, the whole dwarf switch stand disappears from beside the turnouts.

Which route are you talking about that the switch stand goes underground?

The Junction Lever plunges into the ground in the NorthEastCorridor route.

BTW,I just installed the colors fixes and they work correctly for both DonnerPass and NorthEastCorridor.

It has to be something with the way .AP archive works that is preventing the TS2013 junction lever fix to work in TS2014. I suppose I can live with the bad animation, if this remains un-fixable. Since I do switching scenarios a lot, the dwarf switch stand target color fix will satisfy me to determine the turnout position rather than switching to 2D view all the time.
