mainecentral -
You are right! I appologize. That file is screwed up. I undeleted mine a tried to reinstall it and it's gone. The Readme instructions don't make any sense. Typically all you need to do is add a Geo file and you're done. I give up! Thanks for trying Merlin.

Here's a couple of nice MoW engines to hold you over...

And

I'll ask Bob to remove it as there seems to be a fault with the files.

I'll leave them where they are. I'm puzzled why they are not working for some people as I've deleted them and installed the ones from the Library and they worked. I can't spot anything amiss in the Bin files. This is all rather odd !*don-know!*

I don't understand why one individual having a huge problem would lead to a file being removed from the library. How many downloads have we had? How many have had a problem? It works here just fine.

Buzz - I deleted mine to test with along with the original and new one. The fresh download will not reinstall. One reason is that the instructions don't tell you what Geo file to use. So if a newcomer tries to load this - it ain't gonna work.

Also, we have run across this sort of thing before. Some folks have a file that the repaint needs to load completely while others do not. That explains why Merlin is having a problem troubleshooting this. Someone had a similar issue not to long ago.

I wonder if _o_OOOO_oo-Kanowha found his copy of the COARW MOW.

Yes he should have said the:\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Engine\GP38-2_BN.GeoPcDx

Instead of:\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Engine

However anyone who bothered to read the thread of this forum should have been able to figure this out. A little thinking is required if you are going to start working with third party stuff. It's not rocket science but it does take some work some of the time. Everyone needs to think about what is required to make stuff work not just blindly follow instructions which might have a word in the wrong place. If you look at one that works you can usually figure out what you need to do to get the one that doesn't work to get it fixed.

Ok I checked every file in every folder of the csx and mow and there all the same. Don't take anyone's repaints out just because of me.

Well during the great summer sale I bought Steven's Pass, almost entirely for the GP-38-2. I thought I would add some of the repaints, but have no Geo files in the folder. Does this mean they are contained in the AP file for Steven's Pass? The locos show and function fine in the route. I have not followed much of the talk about AP files.

Yes, everything is now contained inside the AP files. To get to the Geo's you need to open the file with a program like 7-zip.
