try making a clean scenario, delete all the stuff in the scenarios folder, then make sure all non default assets are unchecked from the fly out menu, im betting the scenarios may be corrupt

Scenario corruption is a possibility. But, even when I make a new scenario, I still get an SBHH at a certain point in the yard (laptop). I may have found the lynch-pin though. This morning as I was removing track in the yard, I clicked on a piece on the east side of the hump and it SBHH'd. This happened twice. I finally had it removed by drawing a circle under it and deleting it. Being that the reported crashes were happening near this tile, im hoping this was the culprit for this area.

As far as my earlier comment , the JCornell, EMD and other assets that I dont use or own and were being listed by LogMate were being pulled up from the RouteProperties XML. I deleted those entries to reduce the possibility of errors.

Ok, I am officially in full Panic Mode. These problems with this route are changing like an STD - as soon as you think there is a cure, it mutates and comes back in another direction. I've done everything I know to do, plus taken the stuff you guys have suggested. Deleted scenarios; deleted and rebuilt track in the offending areas; removed scenery; removed roads; removed track tiles and the tracks.bin. I have even done all of the above at once, deleted terrain tiles, and painted the tiles default green. I STILL GET THE SBHH!

As of right now, i'm throwing this thing to you guys. If you want to take a crack at it and see what you come up with, the most troublesome error is in and around tile +000001+000001

Im taking a break from this crap before I have a total meltdown.

I don't get it... I am sitting on that tile (with two UPs) and no SBHH.

OK, here are two questions for those that see the SBHH.

1) How much RAM do you have?
2) Did you upgrade TS2012 from a base RW2, or did steam download TS2012 clean?

Update:
3) Did you uninstall NSAND RC1? Do you still have it installed?

8 gig and clean download. Also deleted original scenarios and made my own. Crashed where Jerry is working now.

Just grasping at straws here, it may not be just a memory issue. What Ops system are you running (XP, Vista, 7), bit type (32, 64). Im having trouble on both my laptops, one a WinVista, 32-bit with 3GB ram, and the other a Win7 32-bit with 3GB.

Another Question. What is a MixMap and what does it do?

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

If you mean whats in the Mixmap folder files, thats the info of what you painted and where. All the hand painted terrain info is stored in them.

Well, the latest in my battle with this seems to be focusing on the MixMaps. If you are having trouble, go into the folder that contains this route, back-up the MixMaps folder, and then delete it. If you can then run the route and it's scenarios, then the root cause of the issue has been found. If this is the case, then I can rework the offending areas and get the route back running again.

BTW, after doing this, i've been able to get into all of my scenarios on the route, on my laptops, without an SBHH.

OK. Here was my reasoning for my questions.

1) RW runs at about 2gb on my route. I know if you run out of resources you can SBHH
2) I accidentaly left RC 1 on my system. It may have a file that is missing from v3
3) My RW2 was upgraded in place by Steam.

I was looking for common denominators.

It is still interesting that I didn't see any problems last night.

SMM, if you need me to test something out I will try to be available tonight.

I deleted the Mixmap folder and ran my own scenario again. I started at Webb and went through Debutts yard and on down through the WYE to the Chatanooga area. I drove for 30 minutes from the skyview (1) and other than everything being green it worked fine.

After removing all the MixMap tiles at Debutt's yard and placing them back one by one, the offending tile has been narrowed down to +000002+000002. I'll start working to get it repainted and out in a patch.

With no mixmap folder I just ran the Terminal scenario you made and completed it in 46 minutes. This route is really awesome, I like it!

To run the entire route with MixMaps, the following individual tiles in the MixMaps folder have to be deleted:

+000002+000002

+000028-000019
+000028-000018
+000028-000017
+000028-000016
+000028-000015

+000029-000015

I'll be working this week on getting these tiles patched up.

Yeah, that's the best thing about RWA. I might be able to complain about RSC and their lack of care for the fans of customers of their sim, but I can't say that when there is a problem or knowledge that needs to be shared, the people here don't come through!

I think it might be time that we start our own database of SBHH solutions. This one I had never heard of.

I'm sure all of the constant trashing of RSC on here really encourages them to do more American content. How about we say something nice about the community working together on this problem or any other issue without having to say something bad about the guys that are at least trying to keep going on our sim instead of abandoning us like the poor starving Microsoft.
