im having the same problem . question what files should be in the folder named default . and 2 if you have a fix that needs to be tested id be more then happy to help I know a few things about the file system with the sim . just one more thing you should try testing the download on a computer you don't use to build your locos on . that has just the sim installed with no add-ons a bone stock install . lol a lesson I learned doing flight simulator x models . saves you the headaches. but im dying this loco though looks very nice !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!!

Now that's interesting Sibell...bh762 just sent me a PM stating that all eight S2's are now working with the fix I sent him.
I will have a chat with Rich as to mt thoughts on this.
Thanks for letting us know of your success...

After I get only the Generic version of the S2 I decide to dl Rich' pack again from RWA.
I unzip the rwp and drag and drop all other engines which are not locatet in his file he sent me.
And all is working fine. All engines are ready to roll and appears in the scenario creator instantly by dropping them on the rail.
I guess there has something wrong with the dl itself or something in the NewGen version.

I also suspected it was the .rwp download as I found most of the .bin files had errors ( well, suspected typo errors ) in them...
Great work on getting all eight to work... !*brav*!

I'm really happy to see there seems to be a fix for those who had a problem but my question is why did this work just fine for the hundreds of us who didn't have a problem?

That's the question I ask me too. !*don-know!* This seems very strange.

There seems to be a fix, yes. qrfan3 made a fix for it. I'll see if it ok to post it here, in this thread.

That’s the million $ question Buzz…why did the package work for some and not others. I had the exact same issue as the folks who posted such issues and wanted to get mine working.
I could not find any paths or files out of place or any problems that jumped out in front of me. I did notice something odd and similar to an issue I had with a scenery object many moons ago and looked into that.
With the scenery object the problem was exactly the same type of issue as this loco package so I looked for the typo errors in the loco package as I found in the scenery object.

These were some of the errors found:

<InterfaceElements /> should be <InterfaceElements/>
<Other /> should be <Other/>
<ProjectedLightElement /> should be <ProjectedLightElement/>

There should be no space before the forward slash ( / )
Is this an error, is this a combination of Operating Systems and TS2016 reading rwp files incorrectly when installed or was it packaged wrong……who knows at this stage… !*don-know!*

All I know is that when I corrected all these supposedly typo errors like I did with the scenery object I could load, install to the track, create and run a scenario in game without any issues.
Bh762 who tested my so called fix had success as well, so what does this all mean…..I dunno, I ain’t that smart when it comes to computer language and the such…so go figure!!!
I do have an issue with my fix as the driver has gone AWOL… and I cannot see why he would do that... !*hp*!

Rich...could you paste picture copies of your shared and texture folder to show me the files that should be in there...something is weird and does not add up.
