Success I got the Boston & Maine GP 7's to work.
But have failed again to get the CV GP9 to load I can't figure out what I'm missing.
I must have a bad file in one of the subdirectories.
I counted every geo file in the default gp-9 files and copied them and loaded them into the matching CV gp9 sub files.
I loaded up the CV GP9 IN QUICK DRIVE and again all that shows up are the couplers.
I have downloaded the kit 01 EMD GP 9 and the Kit 01 EMD GP 9 extra many times.
Now I have all the britkits GP-9'S working so I think the default files are ok.

Puzzled???

Bob - there is another GP9 folder in the zip file that does not install as part of the rwp file. This includes new GeoPcDx files for Cab View and Engine. Copy the contents of these folders into the Cab View and Engine folders for the Default GP9 and the CV Geep. Those files need to be there for the CV to work. This should solve your issue.

Best, !*cheers*!

OK Bob, Let's try it this way. I'm going to list EVERY SINGLE *.GeoPcDx that you need. The base directory for all of these is under Assets/Britkits/EMD/RailVehicles/Diesel/GP9/CV_GP9/.

/Particles/ParticleGizmo.GeoPcDx
/Lights/00-Light-01.GeoPcDx
/Lights/00-Light-02.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-Bell-n-rev-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-Horn01-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-Plough-1-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-Short-Tank-rev-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-p1-w-hatch-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Fittings/GP9-hoses-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Engine/GP9-p1-Hi-db-rev_RW3.GeoPcDx
/Crew/GP9-Crew01.GeoPcDx
/Crew/GP9-Crew02.GeoPcDx
/Crew/GP9-Crew03.GeoPcDx
/Crew/GP9-Crew04.GeoPcDx
/CabView/GP9-Hi-cab-db-rev-RW3.GeoPcDx
/Buckeye/B_Coupling_Closed.GeoPcDx
/Buckeye/B_Coupling_Open.GeoPcDx

Make sure you copy all of those from GP9\Default and you should be good to go.

Thanks,
Diego

Thanks Diego.
I can see somethings on your list that are no where near as many geodcpx files as I have for instance I have at 18 geo files under fittings alone.
This must be my problem. Under Cabview I have lots more than what you list.
I'm going to remove all the files that are not on this list and see what happens.
You sure a patient Man for doing all this work for someone you don't even know.
You are top shelf in my book.

Sorry for all this trouble.

Bob,

I've listed the ones that are specifically required by the CV GP9 model. If any of them are missing, the model won't work.

There's no harm in having the various other *.GeoPcDX files in there. They are coming over as part of the copy you are doing from the default directories.

As Marc has pointed out, you need to manually install the reversed dynamic brake engine and cab models from the updated britkits gp9 xtra pack. These are *not* in the britkits RWP and the CV model depends on them.

Thanks,
Diego

Ok Diego
I just started all over and copied the files that are listed, except the GeoPcDx files for the Engine I have no files to copy that are listed as GP9-pl-hi-db-rev_rw3
I only have GP9-p1-hi-ndb-rev_RW3

And the only file I have for the Cabview is GP9-Hi-cab-ndb-rev-RW3
Would this be my problem?

That's exactly the problem and it's what Marc is referring to.

You need to re-download the GP9 Xtra kit from Britkits. When you unpack the zip, you'll see that there's an RWP file AND some separate directories. Look inside those unpacked directories and you will find the two *.GeoPcDx files that you are missing. Copy those to the directories I showed earlier and try again.
