I tried this and it didn't find anything missing. Looking at the list of the textures just confused me and I didn't understand how to tell what was what.

Is there anyone who has the Bay of Quinte route installed at the moment who can confirm that it works for other people? RWTools has not found any missing assets.

I just checked it on my set-up and I am missing tracks in some places and have no ground texture.

I'm sure it used to be okay but I haven't run it for a while.

My best guess is that it is set up to use items in the Kuju folder that have been moved somewhere else by RSC in their attempt to reduce the size of that folder. I don't know enough about route building to solve that one, but perhaps someone else does.

! am lucky then. Having this in a separate set up for my US stuff I avoided any unauthorised fiddling. Mine loads and looks to be all there thank goodness.

Superb route - just wish there were more scenarios for it.

I just loaded mine up and it is fine also. I wish I could off a suggestion. Can you take a picture maybe and see if it triggers anything?

Here (I hope) are a couple of screenshots showing the problem.

The first is at the start of the "Cement Plant Out Of Fuel" scenario showing the missing track and ground texture:

@chrisreb - I wonder, if by having several asset folders, you avoided the removal of some files by RSC from the Kuju folder - just a theory.

Hmmm....that's strange. I don't have any different asset folders than what RSC and the various addons I've loaded put there. I just tried BoQ and it looks perfect for me.

I know we are all just guessing but where are your details set at? If you have anything turned down, that may be a issue.

Good thought Buzz. However, I turned all graphics settings up to their highest level and still no track or ground texture in the first scenario above.

You know, that doesn't look like the usual missing ground texture problem, does it? That usually leaves the blue checkerboard. This is almost as if there is a snow ground texture being used rather than the usual painted textures. But perhaps my experience with missing textures is too limited and this is more normal than I realize.

Progress!!!

I haven't got quite to the bottom of it yet, but the story so far:

I downloaded and re-installed the final version of the route (over the existing version) by unrarring :D the files and just copying them into my TS2013 installation.

The result was:

I then ran the route through RW_Tools and had it fix the P/Ps. The result was:

Aha, I thought. It looks like RW_Tools is deselecting a P/P that's needed for the track and the ground texture. So I had RW_Tools create a list of the P/Ps selected before and after the fix. However, both lists were the same! !**conf**!

My guess is that those of us that have lost the ground texture and the track have run it through RW_Tools and those that have the ground texture and the track haven't. Can you guys confirm whether that's true?

I'll get on to Mike Simpson and see if he can figure out what's going on.

I have indeed run it through RW_Tools, because it CTDs if I don't. Even then it's the only non-DLC route that will load at all. Every other freeware route I have will CTD even after having RW_Tools do its thing.

Nope, I haven't run BoQ through RW_Tools. I haven't done that with any route. They all work fine for me and I've tried quite a few freeware routes.

If all of the freeware routes CTD for you, Steve, then I suspect there is a more basic problem with your TS install.
