Also I think in SH you have to change the ones in the Assets\RSC\ShermanHill\Audio\Wagons folder. I think there is two places for SH.

1. Assets\RSC\ShermanHill\Audio\Wagons
2. Assets\RSC\ShermanHill\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons

I bet this is the culprit. !*cheers*!

I do know there is another folder that is name "wagons", and i put the proxyxml files in that as well, still no luck. This is going to be one of those stubborn issues I guess. Oh and I did make sure to have the sounds enabled in the assets.

Make a copy of the XML from both Sherman Hill wagon folders and attach them here. I'll set it up for you.

There are no .xml files in the Sherman Hill "Wagons", folder, they are proxyxml files, but I couldn't attach those in a post unfortunately.

Try doing this;
1. Go to; Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons.
2. Open up; Bin Files v2.
3. Make a copy of contents and paste into both audio folders from Sherman Hill.
4. Make sure everything is named the same.
5. Let us know if this worked.

That didn't work unfortunately, it overwrote bin files, but the rest of the files in the Sherman Hill Wagons folders were proxyxml files and not .xml files are are in the Bin Files V2.

Proxyxml and xml are the same thing. If everything was done right and it still doesn't work, then those cars in question aren't from Sherman Hill. Any car can use these sounds, period. Just got to keep trying.

Are they working for all the wagons in Sherman Hill? For me the are not working on the Wood Chip Wagon and the Low Gondola and the 4 chute hopper.

Just to double check, those cars are definitely from Sherman Hill, I have circled the ones that are not using the sounds.

OK. Those wagons are using the Assets\RSC\ShermanHill\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons\Wagon Generic Sound.xml.
Rename one of the Wagon Freight.proxyxml files from the sound pack to Wagon Generic.proxyxml.
There are four in the Assets\RSC\ShermanHill\Audio\RailVehicles\Wagons folder.
Wagon Cement.proxyxml
Wagon Coal.proxyxml
Wagon Freight.proxyxml
Wagon Generic.proxyxml
Rename krellnuts Wagon Freight.proxyxml to match all 4.
Maybe that'll do it. *!!wink!!*

Wagon Generic, that's interesting. Generic xml's allow different parameters compared to Wagon Freight. Next time Sherman Hill is on sale I'll have to pick it up to check it out. Although, on the SP SD45 just released, Woody used a Generic xml instead of Diesel xml. I couldn't see any different parameter changes regarding the final sound. I asked him about it, but he didn't explain it. I renamed one of my SD70 xml's to Generic with no change at all.

Maybe a self installer as was made for the first wagon sound file, for us old codgers, (speaking for myself).
Brought up in shop class in school, never had computer training. Know enough to keep RW running smooth.
Great sound that volume2. Thanks !*salute*!

I did? Lol I just used one, as it doesn't particularly matter that much. A Generic controller will work as anything, horns, spotters, engine sounds, etc.
