LOL, look up "Valve Time" on the Internet. There is actually a Wikipedia article on it. Basically, don't hold your breath (unless you like the color blue) !*roll-laugh*! RSC will submit an update to Steam/ Valve and they will..................Yeah, you get the drift. !**duh*!!

Well Valve Time pertains to Valve's projects and not the timeliness of getting 3rd party software up on Steam. If you are referring to RSC, my guess is they are going to want the fix out ASAP cuz little money is going to come in once the word is out it's broken. I eagerly await it so I can get the SD70 10-Pack Sound and Lighting Enhancement Pack 1.0 to hopefully work.

I have the SD70 Vol.2 pack and I don't care for their sound for the EMD 710 engine. The EFI growl and turbo sounds are pretty decent. But it's the low end bass sound layer that's really getting me distracted. They totally used a GE 4-stroke engine rumble and slapped a growl and turbo whine sound layer from like a SD70ACe.At least in the lower notches there is. It has no decent "drum roll" sound at notch-8 that I can detect. Just barely there. Just has that classic 4-stroke low churning sound, but in this case without the 4-stroke's chugging. It's as if a ES44AC and a SD70ACe had a baby...... this is what it would sound like. Call it the EMD Fraken-Loco! I've heard of hybrid locomotives, but this is ridiculous !! !*roll-laugh*!

Bring on the fix!
EMD 2-strokes rule! My all time favorite: SD45X also love the SD40-2/SD40T-2/SD45-2/SD45T-2/DD35A/DDA40X/SD70ACe/SD80ACe

Apparently it wasn't broken before the engine update to TS2013 ... and we seem to be the only people who bought it after the update. So ... it might take just a bit longer. :)

The EMD GP9 is now back in the store. Maybe they fixed the SD70ACe alongside with re-adding the EMD GP9. Can you check it maybe? I don't know how to uninstall a single addon and I don't wanna uninstall the whole game again just for one loco.

PS: The SD40-2 High Nose and Wide Nose addons also don't appear visually when I load a scenario, just like the SD70ACe. Wow, a lot of stuff is broken in that store, what a shame. :(

Take that whole folder of that particular loco and back it up. (I just add something like .xxx or .orig. that will disable that file) Then you shut Steam off and start it up again. Tell it to verify and it should load your loco with the latest version without doing the whole thing.

It's still not working, by the way. And now Railsim have even the courage to lower the DLC price by over 50% of it's original price. They want people to buy it, because they know it's not working. :( I can download (the way you described) as many times as I wish, the folder doesn't even SHOW UP on the hard drive.

Well if that be the case I would suggest you stop payment on your credit card and I am sure that will get someone's attention.

I wouldn't recommend you try that - Steam will close your account, and you will lose everything.

My railway photos are back - you can access them from this thread viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21667a . Lots of UK steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Well then how about contacting Steam and telling them to not charge you for a product that they are offering but it is not available. If several people do this I am sure that it will get fixed. What they are doing now is probably a oversight. If they keep doing it after they are notified then it is a crime.

Yeah, but you must have gotten them before the RW4 update. ^^ I just tried placing them in the scenario editor mode. They cannot even be selected in the placement menu. Same by the way with the SD-40-2 CN Wide Nose loco and it's three unique cargo cars.

This would be easier if you could just answer my question. Maybe we could get this to work. Are they there? pack1, pack2? And if they are look in there and see if there are geoPcDx files in the engine folder.

Sorry. Yes, they are. Pack1, Pack2 and Pack3 even (which is the Mac, I think). Default and Heritage seem to be the missing locos (because I see portrait JPG's inside engine folder) I was talking about. There are even Geo files ... so why doesn't it work? :(
